About
For Great Justice is a pretty generic programming / rant blog, in which I make poasts about programming topics ranging from generic language-inspecific topics to libraries, from reviews (of books and other people’s (usually bad) code) to optimizations. This in whatever language I happen to work with, but probably most often Java, C++ and, zomg, PHP, although I’ve hardly done anything with the last one for some years now.
As for me, I’m a recently graduated bachelor in computer science (or whatever), currently employed at a large Dutch publisher (or, collaboration of publishers) as their first in-house web developer, working for both the publishing corporation itself and one portion thereof, a large Dutch football site (where ‘football’ is the one without the body armor). Over there, I work with a large ‘enterprise content management system’ made in Java. You’ll probably see some posts about that in this blog.
As for the name, it’s an excerpt from what I remember to be the first internet meme, All Your Base Are Belong To Us, and this particular semi-nonsensical sentence is the One Reason that can be used to explain every action, especially those that have no otherwise applicable reason.
